As I wrote in a previous post, Black Lives Matter Hidden Religion, Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader, Patrisse Cullors, worships a Nigerian Gnosticism known as IFA. As her private religion I have no quarrel as no one should Control what a person believes. However, her incorporating IFA into this political movement demonstrates her contempt of and wish to replace America’s love affair with Judeo-Christian morality with Nigerian Gnosticism without openly informing her adherents. Her religious practices have also attracted the attention of others to alert the unsuspecting public of their peril {BLM leaders practice ‘witchcraft’ and summon dead spirits, black activist claims}. With BLM’s flagging popularity since President Biden’s election, as they were no longer needed, efforts have been made to repopularize the movement with religious icons such as the above painting of George Floyd as Christ entitled, Mama, suggesting that Mr Floyd died for Black people’s ?sins? since Christ died for sin; i.e., their salvation (Ro 3:21-26). this confused motif exhibits the confusion of the Lost in understanding the Bible. All works-based, non-Christian, faiths stumble under the same misperception: that Salvation can be purchased via good behaviors.(Ro 4:1-5). By embracing religions, hidden or otherwise, BLM advertises that socialism is religious based which validates its values of good and evil.

Two Voices of Works-Based 1960s Christendom
Christendom is simply a works-based bizarre imitation of biblical Christianity; a Satanic knock-off or inferior product. MLK and Billy Graham appealed to different groups with a public gospel; however, each had a hidden gospel that differed widely from what they espoused. Billy Graham preached a conservative, evangelical gospel message in public but demanded that all denominations participate in his crusades; in return each denomination would receive a segment of those who walked the aisles to proselytize into their denomination whether it be Episcopalian, Lutheran, Methodist, etc. Thus, the television viewers believed that America’s cities were being revitalized with the true gospel when in fact nearly everyone was being deceived. MLK was little different though his gospel was altered to redefine salvation as equality civil rights. His, I Have a Dream, speech was moving but his private life embraced a different moral ethic. He was an avowed socialist and attended socialism training though he never openly announced his affinity. His private life was so debauched that some report that his excesses were becoming impossible to keep hidden. Without his convenient assassination, his civil rights movement would have disintegrated. But, these two men are not unusual nor more evil than any other lost person (Ro 3:10-18). They represent the hypocrisy of all works-based religions.

What is a religion? At its core, religion is nothing more complicated than one’s values that define “right and wrong”; i.e., morality with some reward attached benefitting those who “keep” or follow the moral “good” and punishments for transgressors. A community {local, regional, national or international} agree to the same or similar moral code(s). Moral codes, religions, can be quite simple or extremely complex depending on length of duration of the religion and the means be which the moral code is transmitted to succeeding generations. These take the forms of music, poetry, historical narratives and anticipated future rewards/punishments. It is clear that there are at least two arms at work in every society; often vying against each other for Control.

The Religious Arm directly develops, preserves and transmits the moral code system to society. The societal members are indoctrinated into the belief system via rituals that often involve some type of sacrificial system: actual or vicarious. Those who reject these forms or the entire system are deemed heretics and can be ostracized or turned over to the Civil Arm for more severe punishments
The Civil Arm directly Controls the societal members daily life via rules or laws justified by the religious arm’s moral code. The two major aspects of this arm are taxation to provide the means for government to pursue its goals and the police {internal}-military {external} force to administer proscribed punishments for digressing from the moral code. This arm applies the moral code to everyday aspects of societal life to include commerce, personal behavior, etc.
Societal crises occur when one’s moral code, religion, cannot explain or control changing circumstances such as famine, natural disasters, ongoing government corruption and wars with competing societies. Fracturing also occurs when various factions within a society propose different interpretations of cultic belief systems or even advocate new beliefs from other societies.

Deceiving the Lost and Immature Christians
Thus, every non-Christian Gospel religion is works-based because of sinful human nature. The moral code promises rewards for the “faithful” individual adherent and society at large; often these pertain to some afterlife situation; “Do this – receive that”! Do good- receive good or do evil – receive punishment {moral or actual}. Thus, people participate in the implementation of society’s moral code in varying degrees depending on perceived benefit; either now or in afterlife. It is in the self-internet of Civil and Religious to focus on afterlife benefits in exchange for in life compliance. Hence, religion is another means of Control.
Biblical Christianity is different (Col 1:15-23). The New Covenant is the radical notion that a person cannot please God except one has a new nature (2Co 5:17). This New Nature seeks to please God because it more closely resembles God’s nature. It is hindered by the Flesh which retains the old, sinful proclivities and one’s New Nature cannot Control the Flesh. Only the indwelling Spirit of God protects and matures the New Nature while Controlling the Flesh. The internal conflict for the believer is following the New Nature which naturally seeks to embrace the Ten Words or succumb to the natural proclivities of the Flesh which are more “natural” having been developed over one’s lifetime (Ex 20:1-17; Col 2:20-23; 3:1-10).
The New Nature has little need for the usual rigid rituals as it is led by God’s Spirit {One: Faith; Father; Spirit; Christ; Church; Baptism; Belief system} (1Co 2:14; Ep 4:4-7). Christianity is not anti-government as much as it is anti-sin-Satan. Governments are of Satan, for now. Christians are admonished to obey those in government, consistent with biblical truths, but also to understand that such submission does not means subservience to error (Ro 13:1-7). Christianity develops humility {Beatitudes}. Christianity’s major mission is witnessing to the truth of Christ as the Door to Salvation based on HIS work; not one’s own works (Mt 28:18-20; Ro 3:21-30).
Christ is the Civil Arm {King}, the Religious Arm {High Priest} and the sole arbiter of The Truth {Prophet} (Jn 18:1-18). He judges the rightness of one’s behavior-beliefs: Saved and Lost (2Co 5:10; Re 20:11-15). However, it is NEVER about gaining or losing salvation; that has already been decided when Christ saved you. It is immutable (Jn 10:27-30)! Behavior was not and is not a determinate of salvation (Ro 9:6-24). Thus, the Ten Words {Law} condemns the Lost as does their works-based behavior. But, the Ten Words guides the Saved toward greater maturity in Christ-likeness.

Do not be deceived. God has given His Truth in His Son and in His Word, Bible. Those who seek a world without God, and He allows this for a time, will reap a world of degradation, violence and death; this is plainly obvious to anyone who watches any news {propaganda informational services} (Ga 6:7-8). Their solutions is greater Civil Control (Antichrist) supported by Religious morality (False Prophet) justifying the rejection of Christ and Christians. Yet, God gives all people This Day, life, to repent for when death comes one realizes the absolute Truth and remains locked into one’s salvation decision (Lk 16:; He 3:12-19; 9:27). Accept Him now while it is still This Day. For in That Day, Judgment, He will not hear you though you cry in anguish and pain and all your works-based religions cannot save you (He 12:17; Re 6:15-17). Then you will join the one you believed, the one who constantly accused you, the one who betrayed you, in the eternal Lake of Fire (2Co 11:12-15; Re 19:20; 20:7-15).
