Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis signed several popular conservative bills into law preventing public education from using state (federal) monies from funding Critical Theory Diversity Programs {DeSantis takes on education, blocks funding for diversity programs. The Christian Science Monitor.}. The event was hailed as a milestone by conservatives, cultists and even evangelicals as a blow for freedom! Obviously Governor DeSantis is positioning himself to run for the presidency in 2024 as Trump’s ideologue replacement. However, they both suffer from the same delusion; that the extension of government Control is a blow for freedom {until the opposition gains Control and uses it to their benefit}!
While Marx is best known for his economic socialism; even though it has failed at every implementation. Marx should be hailed for developing the lie of democracy which became substituted for republicanism governments. What is the difference {Law of Identity}? Republics are governed by an external unchangeable morality, rule of law, while democracies are governed by the changing, shifting will of the majority; or at least what the majority believes its will to be on any given issue. However, as Bryan Caplan discussed at length in his book, Myth of the Rational Voter, the voter(s) is the greatest obstacle to republican government! People are usually not well informed, do not educate themselves on the merits of the issues and usually vote for their selfish self-interests regardless of consequences. Indeed, democracy is built on the logical fallacy, Appeal to the Majority.
This should not be unknown revelation as Alexis de Tocqueville made the same observations while touring America in the early 19th century. He wrote, “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money” and “I do not know if the people of the United States would vote for superior men if they ran for office, but there can be no doubt that such men do not run”. The shaping of national public opinion became a governmental art form in the 20th century codified by Edward Bernays’ book, Propaganda, later known as, public relations. This allowed leaders to change America from a nation of laws, republic, to a nation guided by the masses which were themselves guided by the government on how to view issues.
James Corbett of the Corbett Report has developed a video documenting how governments, including America, have used lies, propaganda, to guide their people in the proper direction {Debunking A Century of War Lies.}. For example, Americans are horrified by Hitler’s Germany’s. Jewish death camps but remain stoically blind to their nation’s own atrocities such as the firebombing of Tokyo in which 100,000 people were, “scorched, boiled and baked to death, {Remembering the night 100,000 died when US firebombed Tokyo. The Irish Times.}! The airmen knew what they were doing but were simply, following orders; a defense that excuses them in American eyes but was refused as a justifying defense for Germans tried at Nuremberg!
George H. W. Bush used propaganda to shape American public opinion to support his Iraqi war efforts {A Massive US Propaganda Machine Bolstered George H.W. Bush’s War on Iraq. truthout.}. Again, Americans reject the truth in favor of support for their military which blindly follows orders to extend America’s Pax Americana just as the British taught us by example since the 16th century. Bernays’ Propaganda technics were used so Americans would make the right decision!
Elections are simply the democratic means to guide public opinion to embrace their own enslavement. America, land of the free, passed the Alien and Sedition Acts under founding father John Adams to quell public speech. Lincoln, whose war against the South forced a strong central government over the states, suspended habeas corpus in the name of freedom to muzzle press, politicians and people who disagreed with his war; freedom indeed! Wilson’s Sedition and Espionage Acts continued the American practice to quash dissenting opinions to government actions; i.e., wars. After 9/11 President Bush announced his War on Terror codified in the Patriot Act which changed the legal emphasis of innocent until proven guilty to guilty until you prove yourself innocent! These became the most intrusive acts against free speech surpassing the wildest imaginations of Stalin, Hitler and Mao; all under the guise of protecting freedom! The American people sit passively all the while denouncing the Germans of World War II for blindly ignoring Hitler’s Jewish death camps!

I have long made the statement that all governments are of Satan. The very practice of government proves this point (Jn 8:44)! Governments use intelligence apparati to penetrate the lies of other governments. Governments weaponize their informational mediums to promote their lies to hide their true intentions for as long as possible; i.e., purpose of propaganda. This reliance on lies and counter lies is justified by the statement, everyone else is doing it; a statement any self-respecting parent would never tolerate from their children back in the day! Yet today nearly every parent tolerates and supports the lies of their children, including adults, just as most Americans tolerate and support the lies of their various governments; for to do otherwise is to admit one’s government is evil (Ro 2:1-11). Yes, God allows governments and despite Satan’s best efforts to achieve his kingdom on earth, God sets limits in order for the gospel to propagate and people to be saved (Ro 8:1-7). However, as time goes forward God allows people to embrace their lies and form governments and societies based on lies (Ro 1:18-28); 2Th 2:3-12).
Christ told Pilate, My kingdom is not of this world (Jn 18:36). Christ came to bear witness to Truth and Truth cannot exist in this world. The World System does not tolerate the Truth for it reveals their works as evil (Jn 7:7). Governments embrace the god of this world, Satan (2Co 4:4). Governments are not living entities but composed of sinners who embrace Satan’s lie, to be as god, seeking to set up an eternal kingdom in this creation which. is passing away (Ge 3:5; 1Jo 2:15-17)!
In Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, he has Gandalf confessed that if he possessed the ring, even though he had the desire to do good it would turn his good into evil! Lost sinners, as opposed to Saved sinners, can only do evil even though they may have a desire to do good because the source of their good is corrupted by sin (Ps 51:5: Ro 3:10-18, 23). Governor DeSantis’ desire to do good has only extended government Control to determine what is appropriate education and what is not! While we may agree with his desire to do good, these laws give government the power to Control what education you should receive! Education, which has always been a propagandic tool of government, now takes off its mask to overtly Control what people learn as truth with YOUR consent!
The very Christians who ignore Election and advocate Free Will are the ones who blindly believe their votes are freely cast when their information sources are polluted with government propaganda making free choice nearly impossible.
What I find disturbing is that Christians seek to bring Christ’s kingdom into this world when Christ said His kingdom is not of this world. He will prove the Truth of this when He returns to reign in person and the World will rise up and reject Him via War, again (Re 20)! Yet, Christians either ignore the snares growing around them or duplicitously embrace them as long as they get to live in their comfort zones reminding me of King Hezekiah who cared little for the destruction that his actions would bring on his people after his death; he would not have to suffer (2Ki 20:1-19)! Such is the attitude of many who claim to have a heartfelt desire for sinners; the coming calamity of judgment will not affect them. They forget that they will stand before Christ to give an account of all they did and did not do (2Co 2:10)! What will they say to the One who gave it all for Them?
