Awokeness: Revivalism of Intolerance

Puritans Came to America to Make a
City on a Hill via Strong Central Government

I do not wish to disparage those beliefs that have the Gospel but errors in their doctrines because that would include everyone. Nor do I wish to give the impression that America’s various revivals were all evil for certainly people were saved. My point in this and other posts is to show how religion and government do not go together (Jo 18:33-37). The world governments quash the True Gospel while using false doctrine to advance their power and keep their citizens enslaved (Jo 16:33). However, Evangelicalism worships the American Awakenings by ignoring their effects on government and society until today it is overrun by the latest such awakening called the Awokeness Revival {Awakening}. A “No True Scotsman” World

The “No True Scotsman” logical fallacy
Dominates Nearly Every Discussion Today

When a universal (“all”, “every”, etc.) claim is refuted, rather than conceding the point or meaningfully revising the claim, the claim is altered by going from universal to specific, and failing to give any objective criteria for the specificity (Logically Fallacious). In short what means is that nearly every discussion today is couched in “all or nothing” rhetoric; when exceptions are introduced the response is, “no true (fill in the blank) would be an exception. As the above graphic depicts, “All fundamental Christians are politically conservative, gun owners, anti-poor rednecks. Many fundamental Christians do not hold to these absolute views; therefore, they are not true Christians!” Continue reading “A “No True Scotsman” World”

Social Justice: Gateway to Socialism

PostModernism: Bridge between
Social Gospel and Social Justice movements

In our previous blog, Roots of Social Justice: Social Gospel Progressivism, I discussed how the various movements between 1880-1920 coincided with and supported the Social Gospel movement to destroy the true Gospel and the Bible. Since the Bible is the only source of absolute truth, and values, many denominations were cast adrift on the seas of secular humanism and relative values. The abandonment of biblical absolute values segued into the search for relative meaning such as in the Beat movement of the 1950s and the Hippie movement of the 1960s. The result was the birth of Postmodernism which was the abandonment of God in favor of anything but God and its attendant increase in societal violence. Roots of Social Justice: Social Gospel Progressivism

Common Definition of Social Gospel
However, It’s assumptions were incorrect!

From Rousseau came the French Revolution which became the basis for Marxist Socialism {commonly misnamed Communism} that later became the Soviet Revolution. However, socialism did not begin nor end with violent socialism. In England as in America a Middle Way socialism came into being. It sprang from several springs nearly simultaneously such as Progressivism and the Social Gospel movement; however, these all merged into national socialism which was labeled the Progressive Era. America’s socialism hid behind the flag of two world wars and several minor wars before emerging as today’s Social Justice movement. Thus, while national socialism was defeated in Europe, Germany and Italy, it quietly grew stronger in America and its Western allies. Today the battle is not between liberty and socialism as some would have you believe. The battle is simply between flavors of socialism; i.e., national socialism or international socialism, commonly labeled as globalism. Purpose of Governments: Control

Cain, Murderer Established Government to
Control Sinful People to Perpetuate Government

The inherent problem in discussing which government is better is ignoring both: the condition of people and the fundamental purpose of government. Before Man and Woman sinned there was no need for government. These two people spontaneously lived God’s morality, without government. However, sin, rebellion to God’s morality, destroyed this harmony. This quickly culminated into violence when Cain, the designated Messiah (by his mother), murdered his weaker brother rather than protecting him. Journeying to the land of Wanderers {Nod} Cain built the first cities; thus, he established the first government to control channel sinful impulses to perpetuate government and society. The Happy Chained American

Just as Scrooge Could Not See His Chains
Neither Can Most Americans See Their Chains

I love the scene in the Christmas Carol (Dickens, Charles. 1843) when Marley, Scrooge’s deceased business partner, confronts Scrooge on Christmas Eve seven years after his death encumbered with heavy chains and money boxes. Marley tells Scrooge that his chains are even more ponderous. Scrooge looks at his hands and says he sees nothing. Marley informed him that they will be invisible until the moment of his death; i.e., the accumulation of his life’s work will then be irreversible. Welcome to today’s America where the combined effect of national socialism has been invisible until the day of its revelation.

Astroturfing the Internet

Crowd Screamed, “Crucify Him!”
It appeared majority had spoken

Pilat could find no crime worthy of death; yet, Jesus was brought to him for just this purpose. He finally appealed to the crowd, tyranny of the majority, to determine Christ’s sentence. The crowd of hundreds if not thousands seemed a legitimate sample of the people. Thus, Christ was condemned. However, today we would call this astroturfing and I see it as another means of reflexivity (Reflexivity: Legitimizing the Illegitimate). Continue reading “Astroturfing the Internet”

The Average Voter is Lost

Democracy is Predicated on a Myth
An Aggregation of Voters Find Truth

Democracy teaches its citizens that as a group they filter out error via majority rule; nowhere is this a stronger belief than in America though history reveals this to not be the case. Ergo, it is a popularly believed myth that substitutes its own fallacies for truth, especially during presidential election years.

Have You Worshiped the Antichrist?

Christians seek to find the Antichirst
They Should Discover the False Prophet

Christians search for the Antichrist reminds me of the Scarlet Pimpernel, “They seek him here, they seek him there, those Frenchies seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven or is he in hell?” However, John told us that anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ is an antichrist (1Jo 2:18-23). In fact, he bluntly states that those who were once among them, false professors of Jesus, but have now left the church(s) are in fact antichrists. Seeing Through an Enigma

This book reveals in the political realm
Truth Bible revealed centuries ago

President Lincoln said, “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time;” because he succeeded in fooling all the people all the time using the hammer of war against those who would not believe the lie. President Lincoln’s control of the press was blunt: he destroyed presses and imprisoned thousands for exercising their right of free speech {DiLorenzo, T. Lincoln Unmasked. Random House. 2006.}. The government learned that lesson well and continues to control the press today, though less heavily handed than President Lincoln.
