How Desensitization & Jamming Prepare You for Conversion:
Hardened Heart in Continuous Rebellion Against God
Satan does not draft you or trick you or even have you agree to enter his kingdom; you were conceived in iniquity and already under a sentence of eternal death (Ps 51:5; Ep 2:1-3). Satan’s major effort is the continual Delusion of mankind keeping people from learning of the Gospel of eternal life in Christ (Ep 2:4-10). I will discuss the modern techniques and use modern examples discussing Satan’s processes. The goals of these attacks are to ensconce you in your innate sin nature so you inherently reject God and His Gospel; to sway the immature saved in Christ who do not learn from the Bible and to prepare Mankind to demand and receive his coming rule; i.e., agitate for Satan’s Delusion as something good when it actually will deliver Death, Disease, Famine and Distress.
The above graphic is a schematic to illustrate how you can be influenced and changed without your conscious knowledge. The concentric circles represent YOU, ME, EVERYONE. The inner core represents our sin nature which is already corrupted making the changes easier, appear more normal. The middle concentric circle is what I term the conscious, the seat of being in God’s image (Ge 1:26-27; 2:7, 21-25). God’s image means a person is self-aware with a built-in moral compass (Ro 1:18-32). When one’s thoughts, words and/or behaviors contradict this inner moral code guilt results. Out of this resultant guilt comes fear of judgment (1Jo 4:17-18). The combination of one’s sin nature, inner or old man, and flesh work together driving one to ungodliness or asebeia in the Greek (Ep 4:20-24). Nothing good flows from the sinner(s) as every thought is contaminated by sin and rebellious against God. The outer circle is what everyone external to you, us, sees. This may or may not reflect one’s true inner nature.
Around each concentric circle is a membrane, different colors in the schematic. This membrane is semi-permeable meaning that it allows certain influences to enter each concentric circle. Some influences cannot enter at all while some can penetrate to the middle and some to the core circles influencing one’s thoughts, words and behaviors. For simplicity I have not depicted outflow events but you should be aware that you communicate between each concentric circle, thoughts and thinking, and outward away from self to others and one’s environment.
Finally, I have depicted various influences as arrows some of which penetrate to some level, some which are rejected and some have not yet impacted. These are simply representations and the labels are not exhaustive. The labels I added show primarily negative influences but will include positive influences also.
The techniques of Desensitization, Jamming and Conversion are not new. They are simply simplifications of millennia old approach first displayed by Satan in the Garden with Women (Ge 3:1-7). These labels were popularized in the book, After the Ball, the handbook on how to normalize the LGBTQA+ community in Western societies. Desensitization is the placing of abnormal or sinful behaviors in everyday situations as if these were normal occurrences. These can occur in the form of music, television-movie productions, and authoritarian approvals such as parents, government officials, academics, scientists, etc. The purpose of desensitization is to soften the membrane around each level depicted in the above graphic. Purpose of sensitization is to soften the membrane protecting each level. This can vary from an insidious process to blatant propaganda and lies. It wears holes in the membrane making jamming more effective and conversion more likely.
Jamming is the active, subtle and not-so-subtle process of changing evil into good and good into evil (Is 5:20-21). “‘Jamming makes use of the rules of Associative Conditioning (the psychological process whereby, when two things are repeatedly juxtaposed, one’s feelings about one thing are transferred to the other) and Direct Emotional Modeling (the inborn tendency of human beings to feel what they perceive others to be feeling.)'” {ibid.}. Entertainment can depict LGBTQA+ people as victims while non-LGBTQA+ people are depicted as evil violently opposing or attacking the former.
The goal is Conversion. This is the transition from rejecting LGBTQA+ as normal to tolerating it as acceptable to embracing is as normal and defending it as a right, to continue our example from, After the Ball. The goal is not simply to change what you believe about certain moral imperatives or behaviors. The final goal is to have you continue to reject Christ’s Gospel of salvation: crucifying the old man and changing to the new man or new nature (Ro 10:9-10; 2Co 5:17). This reinforces the sin nature’s ungodly worldview to make you more hostile to the Gospel and to those who bring and live the Gospel. Satan, and the Lost, seek to remake the world without God. Conversion is the rejection and eventual active rebellion against all that God deems Good (Mk 10:18).
While I have used LGBTQA+ examples, these techniques work for every sin whether it be physical immoralities, various levels of lying, anger leading to murders and so forth. This process begins at birth and continues until death. The goal is to keep you from being saved. If one becomes saved, the goal then changes to stifling your maturation in Christ via the Bible so you become a pliable, more deceptive tool in Satan’s arsenal (He 5:11-14). These are the hypocritical Christians given as examples to make Christianity unpalatable. Of course, it ignores the fact that ALL sinners are hypocrites. Christians are saved sinners since they retain the Flesh which wars against the New Nature or New Man (Ro 7:7-8:8).
Thus, every show, every song, every book is designed to desensitize and jam ungodly values to reinforce your sin nature as normal. It glosses over that any knowledge base that rejects God becomes incoherent. Its logical fallacies must not only be ignored, they must be seen as positives points to be used against biblical truths. For example, Evolution is completely contradictory and must be forced through government controlled public education rules and laws. Any teaching of God as Creator is forbidden outside of religious circles. Even Science is enlisted in this deception turning the investigation of one’s physical environment which cries out the Truth of God into a Scientism that ignores or refutes God’s existence.
At best Satan and his active minions, demons and people, want you to ignore these processes so the desensitization and jamming can continue unabated. People by nature are selfish and care only about their immediate concerns such as my needs, my immediate future wants and my pleasures. There is little concern about how one is being influenced. I want to do what I want. Even those who Control their fleshly appetites are not immune as in reality they are strengthening the various techniques being used against them (Col 2:20-23). They judge their success by the avoidance of negative outcomes rather than their relationship with Christ. The pointing out of people worse than themselves to justify their good simply shows the sin they try to hide (Ro 2:1-11).
Technology has only concentrated Control of information into fewer channels more easily controlled by small numbers of people. This Control was covert but has become more overt over the past decade. Controlling information Controls how and what people believe; in other words, it targets the desensitization and jamming. Ignoring these facts only hastens the goal of Conversion which is being planned on a global scale which they advertise is coming: The Great Reset in which You will own Nothing and be Happy! Along with this happiness comes increasing violence and degradation. This is the Brave New World they seek to achieve; a world without God and Christians. A World without Truth or Hope.
Today, This Day, is the time to become aware of the hopelessness planned for You (He 3:7-13; 4:1-13)! Everyone must give an account of what they do in this life. The Christian does so before Christ but does not lose his, or her, salvation (2Co 5:10). The Lost do so at the White Throne and their own works (thoughts, words and deeds) testify against them (Re 20). In this life you may believe whatever you will; however, at death when the soul leaves the body you will confront absolute reality (Lk 16:22-31). All the rescuing strategies which you hide behind now will vanish like water on hot metal. You will stand naked before the gaze of righteous Christ experiencing the judgment YOU chose by rejecting His atoning death for YOU (Ro 3:21-26). Then the fallacies of the Desensitization and Jamming will expose the Conversion for what it is; your decision to send yourself to fiery Judgment for eternity. This is the hardened heart against Christ (Is 6:8-13; 29:10; Ro 11:7-10).
