This week America observed Columbus Day to celebrate the man who discovered the New World for the Western cultures coming forth from the Medievalism of the Dark Ages. This day simply acknowledges the man and his discovery. American public education of the 19th and 20th centuries romanticized the man for their own pietistic purposes; a man who exhibited the ignorance and cruelty of his time. Clearly, Indigenous People’s Day, celebrated on the same day as Columbus Day, is an attempt to rewrite history, again. This is the problem with public education; it becomes a tool in the hands of the government to write history as they see fit. Neither day tells the truth but seeks to justify a political agenda whose end is ultimately: Socialism.
The above graphic reeks of Social Justice agendaism {Yes, I made the word up}. Indigenous peoples were wronged by the nasty Europeans of their contributions to the development of science, technology and human rights! However, something has been left out of the above graphic: the definition of who qualifies as an indigenous people. Thus, the First Law of Logic, Law of Identity, has been violated allowing for any interpretation to be substituted for one’s own purposes. This allows the logical fallacy of equivocation to promote one’s discussion and not facts.
What is the definition of “indigenous people”? “Indigenous peoples, also known as first peoples, aboriginal peoples or native peoples, are ethnic groups who are the pre-colonial original inhabitants of a given region, in contrast to groups that have settled, occupied or colonized the area more recently (Wikipedia).” But, is this an acceptable definition? Does it clearly define indigenous people? I think not. I begs the question of who were original inhabitants of any piece of land. It assumes that inhabiting a land before European settlers gives the inhabitants special or inviolate rights of ownership. As with most discussions one’s assumptions determines one’s starting point and thus one’s conclusion.

The lost world rejects the biblical account of creation, man’s creation, the Cataclysm {Flood} and the incidents at the Babel Ziggurat {Tower}. However, without this starting point no sense can be determined. Evolutionists believe that man evolved from “lesser” organisms to appear in Africa and Mesopotamia; however, there are issues they ignore. How can evolution explain people appearing when no transitional evidence has yet been recovered? How did languages develop. What impetus pushed people to separate and settle across the globe? These issues are germane to the definition of indigenous peoples. We need to know who were the first peoples in an area, how did they arrive, does that give them inviolate rights to the area and what did they contribute to the natural philosophy of the 18th century that became the science and technology of the 19th century into the present time?

Represent paganism in lieu of belief in God
Genesis makes a simple declaration of fact: God created Man and later made Woman from Man (Ge 2:7, 21-22). The various land masses were developed during the Cataclysm, commonly called the Flood (Ge 6-8). All people descended from Noah with instructions to settle ALL the lands, which they ignored forming a single system of government with man as its religious and civil head in place of God. The religious edifice was built at Babel but before it was completed God miraculously divided the single aggregate population into three distinct language groups. These groups migrated away from each other. Over time these three major groups further subdivided into multiple sub-groups based on language, cultural and outward genetic attributes such as skin color. As further subdivision occurred these groups kept expanding into virgin territory OR warred against neighboring groups to further their current holdings. This is the history of sinful mankind (Ge 11).

The Bible clearly shows that no people were indigenous to the Earth. God created Man and Woman who began the population explosion. God intervened to insure exploration and expansion to all lands. Just because a people inhabited a land first does not mean they have an inviolate right to that land forever since the world is the Lord’s, the work of His hand (Ps 19:1-3; Is 40:10-18). All people are like flowers of the field quickly passing away (Ja 1:9-11). After the first wave of migration to an area, subsequent invasions of people brutally vanquished the current indigenous peoples to death or slavery. Wave after wave of conquerers rolled out of the Asian Steppes to push previous indigenous peoples aside in brutal conquest. Can anyone say with any certainty that their people were the first and only settlers to an area? No!
The first graphic did make an important distinction between indigenous people and subsequent {European} people. I refer to Paul’s analysis in Romans (1:18-32). Some few generations after leaving the Ark mankind rejected the truth of God even though His truth was an integral part of man’s nature, God conscienceless. People substituted aspects of visible creation in place of the truth of God. This resulted in an inner darkness evidenced by outward displays such as shown in the above graphics. As man sank further into this ignorance his darkness increased evidenced as paganism {Gnosticism}, ignorance and grinding poverty. As peoples moved further from the truth of God’s truth, Canaan {later to be Israel then Judah} the more they exhibited these traits of ignorance and degradation. Even cultures that had originally embraced Christianity soon left the true faith to embrace a false religiosity masquerading as Christianity to enter a Dark Age {Medieval}. For about a thousand years these cultures were mired in ignorance and degradation also. However, in the 18th century Western cultures entered a new age after the Reformation restored the true Gospel to small degree. As the Gospel worked through these cultures turning them back toward a truth of God people saw an orderliness in creation hitherto unnoticed. The Enlightenment with its bent toward natural philosophy, later to become science and technology, was developed. This led to the Industrial Age which quickly rent the shackles of ignorance and grinding poverty from many peoples. As Christianity spread more people were moved out of their fear and ignorance. However, the seeds of ignorance were never far removed even in Western cultures. Scientisms replaced true science with the express aim of disproving the veracity and truth of God’s word. Today, a new Dark Age, a resurgent Medievalism is stalking the lands in the form of Social Justice and its attendant International Socialism. And the majority of European settlers were not of the Gospel but were born into the religious ignorance of Christendom and reflected such in their lying and violent treatment of indigenous peoples who also sought to destroy those who upset their kingdoms of ignorance and poverty. It is hard to find a better picture of sin at work in history.

Indigenous People Day is little more than the worship of, a return to, ignorance, poverty and false worship possibly in the form of Gnosticism which embraces all paganism and most religious works-systems under its overarching umbrella. This religious arm has one purpose; make palpable the return of societies to the ancient model of a small ruling elite living in ease and power over the majority of people required to make their lifestyle possible. Indigenous People Day is simply a romanticized view of ancient life ignoring the grinding poverty, raging ignorance and limited opportunity for healthcare that has been so abundant since the 20th century though highly regulated by governments as to limit its access to many under the guise of providing free healthcare to many. This is really a return to Babel as the European Union points the way. This is really a rejection of God, His Gospel and His Son. This is the broad path of Death.
