Process of Unifying: Man’s Way or Christ’s Way
The previous post looked at scientism’s view of Man’s nature {Evolutionary Psychology “Locks in” Hermetic Dialectic Thinking.}. This post examines understanding Man’s nature from the biblical perspective. However, because modern education has propagandize people into believing this pits religion {ignorance} against science {knowledge} I must address this logical fallacy. The Truth is that we are pitting knowledge against ignorance knowing that the advantage lies with ignorance!
Evolutionary view of Man’s nature masquerades as science; i.e., measurability and repeatability of the empirical. Since no one was present at Man’s creation all discussions of origins fall outside of classical science. These discussions are relevant under the heading of Forensic Science {“Forensic science is a practical academic discipline that involves solving puzzles. Forensic scientists use their knowledge of basic science fields like biology, chemistry and physics to investigate questions (often of a legal nature)”}. One collects data and determines its relevance to one’s matrix or theory of the matter; hence one’s view, or worldview, determines which datum are true and which are false.
Does science reveal Truth? This was the conflict of science during the Enlightenment. Once school believed that Science could explain absolute Truth and the other major thread believed Science could only reveal facts that could be fitted into a conceptual framework that may reveal or support theories {suppositions concerning reality that could not be proved as absolute fact(s)}. Scientific theories flow from a set of assumptions, elements accepted as true without proof that they are true to a set of experiments designed to determine if the theories explain observable phenomenon. However, Science can never prove a theory as true and one negative result can disprove a theory as false regardless of how many positive results one has en massed {Science Does Not Reveal Truth. Forbes.}.
In plain fact, Science is a religion with its own belief systems that must be accepted on faith. There is one severe shortcoming of this religion compared to the biblical view; science by definition is limited to the empirical or observable. The mind of Man is outside the realm of science; hence psychology/psychiatry masquerade as science which makes them scientisms {religious sects that deny being religious but harbingers of absolute Truth}. They further cement their religious status by denying that scientific research can disprove their truth claims!
In closing this portion, true Christian biblical faith does not oppose science which measures the observable. Scientists, many of whom reject belief in Christ, use an evolutionary matrix or context to explain the phenomenon they measure which pits them against the Bible (Ro 1:18-28). The Bible not only defines this action but explains why this occurs. God says, “Come, let us reason together…” (Is 1:18). False religions demand compliance but true faith invites honest inquiry. Christ invited people to search the Scriptures to determine the Truth of His statements (Jn 5:39-40). Hence, reliance on the Bible is reasonable if it consistently and reasonably matches observations. Now, let us go to the beginning (Ge 2:7) {Follow the above graphic}.
Man is comprised of Flesh, made from physical elements of this Creation and which returns to its constituent elements after death; when the soul or spirit of a person is separated from the body (Ec 12:7). But, Man is also soul which is separate from the body but intimately linked to the body; i.e., the body cannot live without the soul (Ge 1:27). Man’s soul is made uniquely for each body and exhibits the nature of the Creator (Col 1:15-20). Thus, Man’s nature is a unified entity, not a squabbling tripartite vying for control at the expense of the others as modern Man believes. Man’s rationality and emotionalism are coherent elements of a single unity working together for a common purpose. Woman, who came from Man, also exhibited this unifying cooperative relationship for a common purpose (Ge 2:21-24).
Man, and Woman, had a sinless nature, innocent, in a fleshly body to interact with this empirical, material earth. The body-mind connection will be the weakest link in this chain. Man acknowledged his cooperative dependence on Christ for guidance. Christ gave Man-Woman a two-fold mission: Multiply, fill and subdue the Earth but start in the Garden to gain the necessary experience (Ge 2:8, 15-17).

Man and his body are empirical, sense deal only with the observable. Man is totally dependent on outside guidance in understanding the non-empirical. As long as Man-Woman relied on Creator-Christ they walked in Truth consistent with their nature. Satan tempted Woman to choose herself as The source of knowing by deceiving her; however, Man did not have to be deceived which implies that he was already considering to blaze his own path to achieve dominion over the Earth (1Ti 2:14). However, he was also deceived! His choice to reject Christ’s guidance meant he was now blind to spiritual influences which enslaved him to Satan and to his own Flesh to develop a World System that serves Satan at Man’s expense (Ep 2:1-4). Man’s Flesh now became his own worse enemy seeking its own gratifications regardless of consequences (Ge 3:5-7; 1Jo 2:15-16). Because each violated their God-given nature by rebelling against God, fear and guilt began, warning them of their sin (Ge 3:8-10; 1Jo 4:18). As head of Creation, Man’s rejection of Christ affected the unity of this entire Creation which led fallen, ignorant Man to envision an evolutionary violent death-ridden process to explain the beginnings of what we now observe (Ro 8:19-22).
Once Man-Woman sinned, violated their nature, sundered their link with God and choose Death over Life, there was no return to the former state. This is evident in uncontrolled anger resulting in murder of others to obtain what one covets (Ge 4:1-17). Man began building his World system; however, it did not serve him but served the one who lies behind him: Satan (1Jo 5:19). The Flesh-World System driven by covetousness which is the source of all idolatry who one major focus is the worship of Satan even if in ignorance such as erecting Science as one’s philosophical foundation (1Co 10:20; Col 3:5)!
What is the nature of Man’s fallen nature and Flesh? Rejection of all knowing of Christ as Creator and Lord. Reliance on lies and violence. Joining together with those who believe the same to continue the delusion of independence. And the condemnation of those who believe differently than one’s self forcing everyone to either believe the same or be dead (Ro 1:18-32; 2:1-5; 3:10-18). Individually and corporately Man driven to achieve desired ends through violence and degradation (Ja 4:1-4).
Modern Man uses the scientism of psychology/psychiatry to eliminate the guilt, fear and sin’s emotional-physical consequences; to no avail. No meds, no treatments, no self-delusional philosophies can mask the fear that God’s just judgment will prevail. The Flesh controls the sinner via what today is called addiction to whatever entices each person (Ro 7:14; 8:5-8). This does not ease the fear and guilt; it does not satisfy requiring greater indulgences with diminishing returns which only rewards with greater degradation of self (Ga 6:7-8). The only path to relief is rejected by the Lost mind as foolishness keeping them trapped in the tyranny of: Flesh-World-Satan (1Co 2:14). The hope of a self-actuated mind free from guilt and fear is simply a seared conscience which cares naught for the consequences to others of its own self-gratification (1Ti 4:1-2). Is there no hope, no deliverance from the tyranny of The Flesh (Ro 7:24)?
Legacy of Modern Man’s Psychological Scientism
Ongoing Degradation, Death and Denial of Self’s Sin
Satan, god of this World System, keeps people infatuated with the brilliance of their own ignorance lest they should see the Truth of Christ’s salvation in the Bible, be saved to find Peace (Jn 14:27-31; 2Co 4:4-7). Christ’s salvation exchanges our Fear for His Peace for He alone has satisfied the penalty of our sin in His own Flesh (Ro 5:6-11; He 2:14-18). Each one who is saved becomes a new creation in Christ (2Co 5:17). Yes, we retain the Flesh which so easily besets us; however, we have the indwelling Spirit which helps us control our Flesh, and our sinful impulses if we do not quench or grieve the Spirit by rebelling against its guidance (as we are want to do even when saved) (1Co 3:16-20; Ep 4:30; 1Th 5:19; He 12:1-2).
The saved learn to walk in faith; this is not ignorance; but, it is a knowledge that is foolishness to Satan-World-Flesh-Sinners as it leads back to our Creator, Christ. They would rather die, even in knowledge of their coming judgment, rather than repent (Re 6:12-17). Such were all of us except the Father saved us despite ourselves (Ep 1:3-14). Does this make Father and Christ unrighteous to judge (Ro 3:3-5)? No, it demonstrates His mercy in that He chose to save some when all were guilty to demonstrate His love (Ro 3:21-27). The proper question is not, “Why does God not save everyone?” The proper question is, “Why does God save anyone for all are deserving of Death “(Ro 6:20-23)?
The only hope anyone has is in Christ’s salvation contained in the Bible. Each person’s own conscience testifies to the Truth of one’s own guilt and the Bible’s truth (Ro 1:19-20). The gift is free, to you, and the Spirit and the body of saved down through the ages say, “Come,” and be saved (Re 22:17). Will you throw aside the foolishness of Modern scientisms designed to keep you enslaved to sin? It is appointed to die once, and after that comes the judgment (Lk 16:22-31; He 9:27). Now is day for salvation (He 4:6-13).
