Widow’s Offering
Christ’s Condemnation of Religion

The Gospels contain one of the most misunderstood observations of Christ that has great application to us today and I am referring to the Widow’s Offering at the Temple (Mk 12:41-44; Lk 21:1-4). Continue reading “Widow’s Offering Condemns Minimum Wage”

At the beginning of Christ’s ministry, He went into the wilderness to be tempted in the flesh as man. The first Adam (man) failed this test, the last Adam could not be Savior if He failed the testing. Continue reading “Worshiping the King (God) of Totalitarianism”

Understanding True Jewry – Their Words

Pestilence-Ancient

Misunderstanding Jewry
Is Death to Everyone

Without a doubt, the Bible is a Jewish book either directly or indirectly; therefore, a correct understanding of biblical Jewry and historic Jewry is essential to proper hermeneutical interpretation of both the Old and New Testaments. Continue reading “Understanding True Jewry – Their Words”

Tree of Knowledge, Death, Life

Ouroboros Triad
Dragon – Satan

Snake – Man
Tree of Knowledge

As I sat to write this final post of the Ouroboros Triad I had to step away for some reflection. The focus of many is on the tree. Was it an apple, a pomegranate, or was it something that had nothing to do with the type of tree at all?  The issue is not the tree, the issue was, and is, the knowledge of good and evil. Continue reading “Tree of Knowledge, Death, Life”

Ouroboros
Dragon – Satan

Tree – Life & Knowledge

The ouroboros is an ancient symbol usually expressing what today would be considered the “circle of life”. The depiction expresses the concept that nothing more is needed other than one’s self. The dragon needs nothing other than itself and all within the circle it created it unified with it’s completeness. Continue reading “Ouroboros – Circle of Life or Death”

Truth of Life or Death

Orvieto, Exterior of the Duomo
The Bible Relief: Original Sin

The snake, or dragon for the Hebrew word does not differentiate between the two, are iconic in ancient and modern cultures. From the very ancient kingdoms to today’s Gnosticism, snakes present as symbols of power, life and spiritual attainment, usually. Revolution or Enforced Mediocrity

Bell Curve

Gaussian or Bell Curve Thinking

Modern revolutions claim to promote individuality against the behemoth state hegemony; however, history does not support this claim. The French Revolution’s claim of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity was inherently contradictory since liberty for the individual was suppressed to promote equality of the group; or to put it more simply, mediocrity. Who Are You Voting For? A Savior?

The American Savior: The President

I have heard the same rhetoric in American presidential politics for forty years. The only thing that changes is the crisis that requires Americans to vote for the “right” candidate so we are not destroyed outwardly or inwardly. We only need the right person to guide us into the Millennial Age of peace and plenty. So, I ask the Christian, “Who are you voting for?” “A savior?” Continue reading “Who Are You Voting For? A Savior?”

The Matrix – Which Mind is Yours

In the movie, “The Matrix”, Neo (One) had to choose between the blue pill or the red pill denoting whether he wanted to learn the “real” truth or remain in his delusion. This struck me as somewhat similar to these verses, “But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one.(1 Co 2:14-15 NASB) Continue reading “The Matrix – Which Mind is Yours”
